GenieMat FIT used in the tallest building in the world

Pliteq recently installed the GenieMat FIT product line in The Burj Club, a prestigious private members fitness centre in the worlds tallest building, the Burj Khalifa located in Dubai, UAE.

Unit owners were complaining about the transmission of noise and vibration from weight drops, so a series of head-to-head acoustic tests were conducted on various fitness flooring products.

It was concluded by the acoustic consultant that Pliteq GenieMat FIT was the most effective solution to the problem based on superior low frequency isolation.

A team of Pliteq engineers and FIT certified installers made several overnight visits to complete the installation without any requirement to close the facilities to the members.
